Browser and API Data Access
To follow along, open a browser and go to data.pacificgyre.com
Sign In (data.pacificgyre.com)
Signing in takes you directly to the dashboard where you can see the latest positions and status data for all transmitting devices
Go to Download Data Page
Download data by selecting the “Data” option from the three horizontal lines (hamburger) menu.
Set Data Filters
Set filters to select a time span or date range, individual or multiple devices, sensors from which to download data.
Select the Data Download tab
To continue to refine your download requirements go to the Data Download tab.
Select Format
Available formats include html, csv, and kml.
Choose to download or view on screen
View the data in your browser, or save it to a file.
Download Data
Clicking on the indicated url downloads the data. Copy the url to your own application to download the data directly into your own application.
